Heather Cassidy (Artistic Director, Performer, Storyteller, Workshop Leader) studied for an M.A. Honours Degree in Theatre Studies and English Literature at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2003. She has since worked throughout Scotland with many notable companies, including the National Theatre of Scotland, TAG Theatre Company, Catherine Wheels Theatre, Giant, Reeling and Writhing, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre.In 2007, Heather was awarded a full scholarship from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, to study for a Masters in 'Arts in Social Contexts', and graduated with Merit in November 2008.
Heather continues to actively pursue her professional development, and has participated in training with Goat Island Performance Group, Frantic Assembly, Imaginate, National Theatre of Scotland, Playwrights' Studio Scotland, Promote YT, Starcatchers, TAG Theatre Company, Theatre Modo, Zendeh and Zygo Arts, amongst others.
